Let this serve as a ►2011◄ Holiday Season greeting wishing ALL a ★ Merry Christmas ★ May God's boundless love ♥ surround & protect as this year closes & a New Year 2012 rapidly approaches.
As stated before, I personally don't believe Jesus the Christ was born on December 25th by our Gregorian calendar or 'Christian' calendar (which didn't even exist 2,000 years ago). I do believe the Christmas season, aka Holiday season, is a time of sharing love with family, friends, associates & those we come in contact with, especially striving to exhibit the love of Christ.
Current events draw most everyone's attention, unless of course one withdraws & ignores what transpires in our immediate worldly circle, or the extended circle of world activities. So much is occurring & with such rapid succession that one is at times overwhelmed. The hoopla over the release of a 'new' NIKE style sports shoe has led to injuries, near riots & reports of at least one death which appears to have been nothing more than an internet hoax.
The Middle East continues to be a powderkeg of UNcertainty with the Muslim Brotherhood calling for a new United Arab States with the capitol in Jerusalem. Iran is flexing their military muscle with extensive military exercises in the Strait of Hormuz. Not to forget that Iraq seems very insecure with little security after the withdrawal of U.S. military forces.
Focusing on 'End Of The World' scenarios, YES it is true that in my heart I NEVER believed the world would still exist to celebrate Christmas 2011 and New Year's 2012. I along with many others whom I am in daily contact via the wonders of the internet were surely convinced from our study of the Holy Bible that May 21st would be the Rapture and October 21st would be the annihilation of the entire Universe. YES, we were wrong & we have admittedly resolved our error & posted many messages to that effect. Speaking only for myself, I am not date-setting at this juncture, although there exists many hypotheses via internet postings of impending doom, perhaps over the Christmas weekend? Internet & YouTube searches reveal a plethora of suspicions which I feel are NOT based on Biblical scripture. Even the Mayan calendar's 2012 prediction has been moved up by a year???
Watch my daily online publications as more stories are posted & reported. Even more importantly, study your Holy Bible to glean as much Bible truth as humanly possible. IF, and that is a big IF, the Lord allows the Universe & humans to continue into the year 2012 & perhaps beyond, may TRUTH take all precedence.
